777512 2009-05-28 02:47:00 I've tried 9 numbers and nothing. haha

Oh well vodafone stinks anyway!

and also telecom. It had to feel special and build a 850mHZ frequency network while the rest of the world uses 900mhz/2100mhz.

By the rest of the world you mean NZ, Aust and the US or Europe????

777513 2009-05-28 03:32:00 Well, right now I've been waiting 20 days for a new phone to arrive, that should have turned up "in 5 to 10 days".

I've had 3 phone calls with Vodafone customer service and as yet have not had someone even able to tell me if the phone was sent to me or not sent to me at all.

I'm not so annoyed about the phone not turning up - stuff happens - but am well pissed that nearly a week after I first contacted them about it I still have not had any kind of answer as to what is going on.

So colour me cynical about their $1000 credit promotion. Me thinks they need to look at the very very very basics of customer service before they go dreaming up silly marketing promotions like this.

No I meant China,Japan,Hong kong,Thailand, South korea,,Chile,netherland Iceland,Finland, ,India, UK, Europe,,Hungary,Norway,Taiwan,Denmark,Austria Australia,NZ ... etc all uses 900mhz/2100mhz Oh wait

lets just say the continent instead Asia, Europe, Australasia

Canada uses 850Mhz but mainly operate 2100MHZ
Usa uses 850mhz but they have 900mhz/2100mhz

Anyone who knows about mobile phones knows that 900mhz/2100mhz models are released first then afterwards not in the too distant future the 850mhz comes out and it I can tell some models arent release for that frequency that telecom is operating in.

777515 2009-05-28 07:06:00 By a strange coincidence, my number is not up yet either (Could be a good sign).

If they had listed my number I might have had to modify my opinion of the integrity of
a/ Vodafone.
b/ Telcos as a group.
c/ Advertising in general.

Happily, I don't need to change a thing. ;)
