| 778863 | 2009-06-01 10:05:00 | is there a adapter that can be used in place of the xbox 360 one, i'd rather not pay $140 for the M$ one | GameJunkie (72) | ||
| 778864 | 2009-06-01 10:49:00 | Grab a WL-520GU and install Tomato or DD-WRT firmware, then put it on client mode wireless which will bring the wireless internet from your existing router and into the ethernet ports:) All in all, it should cost around 80 and a long afternoon EDIT: OR, grab the WL-520GC. I think DD-WRT can't fit on it, but DD-WRT Mini can, only thing is, the range of the Wl-520GC is quite bad. But I reckon it would be fine in client mode, tried it a few times myself:) Going cheap here: www.trademe.co.nz Blam |

| 778866 | 2009-06-01 11:08:00 | www.wi-fiplanet.com I personally like Tomato, for its simple slick GUI(driven by AJAX) and when you need to change a feature instead of rebooting the whole router it can just restart a service. Easier to use too. DD-WRT does have more features, but its unlikely you'll ever need them. Tomato includes everything you need pretty much. Another option BTW, is to use a computer nearby and just share the internet connection with the router (This of course, has its limitations, but it would be fine if you're willing to turn it one everytime you need to game online.)
