There are people who carry on using alcohol and then drive anyway for the 17th time. I, myself, continue to use tobacco in spite of being encouraged not to do so for example. Any law has to be enforced to be effective in my view and the consequences should be swift and sudden rather than dragging on through the so called Justice system. Bring back the stocks I say but with the price of vegetables being what they are I can't really afford to throw them. |

I think it would be better if your neighbours - who presumably had to put up with you tearing up the street multiple times at 2am while blasting out music on your bigger-than-god sound system - were given the opportunity to beat the crap outta your car in front of you: log splitters, axes, baseball bats, blow torches, whatever gets the job done and feels good. Followed up finally by the wreck being dragged off to a disused quarry and blown up with high explosives, the video of which would then be posted on a website with your name and mugshot, for all to enjoy. I could get behind that. |
