| 868186 | 2010-03-18 04:29:00 | I have 2 identical hard drives I want to set up as RAID 0 or 1. If I do RAID the disks can I take an image of the installed OS partition and store it on another, seperate, single hard drive and be able to restore to the RAID disks if needed? |

Note that if you're using software RAID, you'll need to create the image with a tool that understands the RAID system you're using. If you're using hardware RAID, you can use any tool you like. |
