780172 2009-06-06 21:54:00 Micro$t has released their re-badged search engine Bing.

I have tried it a few times.

I quite like it. It is very clean and modern looking.

I like the way their backgrounds change (I got some nice dolphins today)

But they have a long long way to catch Google Up.

780174 2009-06-06 22:59:00 The Bing Maps is horrible. They have a long way to go to catch up with Google maps! BigBadBob (14963)

780176 2009-06-06 23:44:00 Maybe they should have called it Bling? . . . ;) R2x1 (4628)
780177 2009-06-07 01:38:00 I've used it for a while - it does what it says it does. I currently have it set as the default search engine in FF, and have found it quite good at returning the right results quickly.

It is missing some features though - for example, the ability to convert currencies by typing something like "1 NZD in USD".

780178 2009-06-07 03:38:00 No, but for sure, "bing" won't become a verb any time soon. Renmoo (66)

Yup - it was convenient to do it from the Firefox search bar though.
