| 779482 | 2009-06-03 22:12:00 | I'm with Actrix and have just changed my plan from FS down and 160 kbps upload to FS down and FS upload. Speed test on the old plan I was lucky to get 3000kbps D/L and 130 kbps U/L, but just run a test on the new plan and I get 6775 kbps 846.9 KB/sec D/L and 541 kbps 67.6 KB/sec U/L. I'm more than happy with this. Actrix are dropping there daily rate limited plans and are going back to the monthly rate limited plans. Those people who wish to stay on the old daily rate limited plans may do so, but any new customers well only have the monthly plans to use. www.actrix.co.nz :) |

Monthly plans have the option to be rate limited or charged for extra data. Whoops you are so right. They have dropped there double happy plan which I was on. I was on the 700mb one where you had 2 daily caps of 700mb each. They were each reset at 6:00pm and 2:00am respectively which gave you a daily cap of 1.4gb. If I wanted to D/L something bigger than 700mb I would start D/L about 1 hr before the reset so that you would continue D/L in the next period. :) |

| 779486 | 2009-06-04 05:57:00 | I'm with Actrix and I'm on one of their daily plans. I think its great getting it reset every day. It is a shame they are dropping it. It makes Actrix look like all the other ISP's now. I think they should have promoted these plans more. |
