Nope, but I saw one of their ads. If that doesn't start a few movements I will be a bit surprised.

779566 2009-06-05 02:05:00 No, they are keeping the CDMA network for several years (5 IIRC).

They gave the 5 year promise in 2007 so shut down likely in 2012.

Make a real good deal plan (easy to hook a few numbnuts) then ramp it up a few months down the track.

Yup. I don't get into nightless long texting. I just email and Skype. The phone is usually used if I am buying something or doing something and need the other person's feedback. When I travel, I don't take my phone with me cos of the cost - roaming setup and the fees with that and really with annual leave I usually go for a week only and I find it much cheaper to use a internet cafe once a week on long holidays (longer than a week). Overseas, a phone is just to figet with, you know you are not expecting calls but you still look at the phone and play with it, similar to iPods and stuff, maybe to look more cool when you are waiting or standing there while people look at you I dunno.

Without it on travel I enjoy the lightness. I am going to Malaysia and Brunei next week Friday for a week. $899 special at Flight Centre :punk All I am taking is a daypack which on the way back could be expanded by undoing the side zip, may not take clothes with me cos they are so cheap there.

Pretty much the only time I use the phone is when I am out and I need to call the recruitment agent back. I'm not looking for work now so that $20 will last. Familiy trips is where I may spend more than $20 a year, maybe $50 ....
