868713 2010-03-22 07:23:00 Hi PPp,having just had a look at the link you provided,I'm left wondering who Matousec are and how reliable are their findings... they certainly have shaken up my beliefs as to which anti virus/firewall to use ... anyone else have trouble believing what they see?

cheers

868715 2010-03-22 17:42:00 So they reckon Nod 32 is useless despite findings on here by our own techs, and it's old news it still has Windows live one care. I will stick with what I have now Nod 32 and MSSE on the spare machines gary67 (56)

Remember, Matousec is testing the firewalls/security - not Anti-Virus.
AFAIK, the Eset firewall is pretty useless. You're best just to get the AV and use something else as a firewall.

If running Windows 7 for "home" use you don't need a 3rd party solution with increased overhead, the built in firewall is by far MS best effort.
