| 869505 | 2010-03-23 21:51:00 | I wonder if anyone can tell me a way of fixing this fault? In Control Panel I have changed the background picture to a Photo slideshow. One is supposed to be able to alter the picture position ie stretch, fill, center, fit. Unfortunately on my computer when I set it to anything other than "stretch", it always reverts to stretch after clicking Save Changes. This means that I get a distorted picture. I have an HP V220 moitor plugged into the laptop. Is this a known fault, or is it just an oddity that my computer has? If you answer my post, thanks, but I may not be able to get back to my computer for a week. |

| 869508 | 2010-03-29 23:30:00 | Sorry about the delay in replying. The two displays are different shapes. The resolution is 1366x768. I don't think this is the problem though. (The screen saver displays properly for instance - although there is a problem with this too - it doesn't always come on) The problem is, I think, that Windows will not let me change the background setting from 'Stretch' to 'Center' or 'fill' or 'fit'. It stays at Stretch every time I try to change and save it. Thanks. |
