781109 2009-06-15 09:24:00 No doubt that bid will be removed, Why would an established Trader with a fairly good rating put a bogus bid on. radium (8645)

It did sell for $5160. I watched it. At 15 minutes to go the bid was $2210.
It Auto extended for about 15 minutes past the original finish time.

Pretty good price for a 20 yr old washing machine.

Hope the winner pays.

Mmmmm what did I do with my grandfathers Cut Throat Razor

It begs the question: "How does the purchaser intend to profit from their purchase?"

You don't shell out that much money for a dud machine unless you think you see a way to create value from it.

I'm pretty sure the buyer isn't the Tooth Fairy, Father Christmas, or a Fairy Godmother so I expect to see the saga followed up in the media in due course.

Cheers
