781912 2009-06-16 00:58:00 Classic NT workstation error on boot I once saw:

"Keyboard not detected. Press any key to continue."

(The keyboard was plugged in, but the workstation wasn't responding to any key presses for some reason. So I guess pressing a key on the keyboard that wasn't detected worked just as well as pressing a real key...)

781913 2009-06-16 02:20:00 To this day I don't know what that message meant.

Obviously you shouldn't have seen the message. Expect a visit from the developer and some thugs one day :p

781914 2009-06-16 03:17:00 I've seen variations of this before. I think they are messages that existed in the debugging stage of the software development, and that the programmers either forgot to fix, or really did think nobody would ever see.

In fact, I once got a WINDOWS error after installing windows that said something failed followed by "Should not see this."

To this day I don't know what that message meant.

Yeah I think you are right. The error message was left there from debugging stage but certain system screwups can cause the program to trigger the message.

I think the last time I got one like that was when I tried to use the program while IE had been wasting too many resources and there was not enough left free for the program in question to actually run properly
