I've seen variations of this before. I think they are messages that existed in the debugging stage of the software development, and that the programmers either forgot to fix, or really did think nobody would ever see.

In fact, I once got a WINDOWS error after installing windows that said something failed followed by "Should not see this."

To this day I don't know what that message meant.
