2010-03-25 04:34:00 | Anybody tried it? I've just been comparing the latest Opera with Chrome, so figure I'll download it and give it a whirl. Hardware accelerated HTML5 amongst other things included now :D

Anyways, try doing this in your fav browser: ie.microsoft.com All were tested in Full-screen, 1680x1050 Chrome 4.1 gives approx 2 -> 4 FPS, jerky as hell :( Firefox 3.5.3 gives 18 -> 24, but redraws them *horribly* Opera 10.5 gets 30 -> 32, not *too* bad, but it "halts" and "shudders" at times ... IE9 gives 64 -> 65, even when I hold down Shift for faster spinning!! It's a shame Acid3 still fails miserably :p |

2010-03-25 04:48:00 | Not yet, altho I dont think the vidcard supports HW Acc anyway. So, it'll probably be the same as any other browser when I go to sites | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-03-25 05:04:00 | Pretty consistent 65-66fps, no matter what I do to it. Opera 10.10 64bit, on Gentoo Linux. Not yet, altho I dont think the vidcard supports HW Acc anyway.Hardware acceleration is the entire point of a video card. Trust me, it will support it.

2010-03-25 05:18:00 | If it does, then the drivers dont support it. Since, the option is disabled | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-03-25 05:35:00 | Installed it this morning on a workshop computer | wainuitech (129) | |
2010-03-25 05:48:00 | If it does, then the drivers dont support it. Since, the option is disabled Which OS are you using? If I remember correctly, it uses a rendering API that's only present in Vista and above - so if you're running XP, then you won't have the option to use hardware acceleration.

2010-03-25 06:23:00 | Interesting - I have no idea then. My guess is the same as yours - drivers - but I don't know for sure. | Erayd (23) | |
