870314 2010-03-27 12:11:00 Here's another post about it (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz). You may have to update the firmware (h20000.www2.hp.com). Also, make sure the hdd is a Maxtor. If your system isnt listed, then you may have to replace the hdd Speedy Gonzales (78)

870316 2010-03-27 12:22:00 Well it either needs a firmware update like the link I posted. Or you'll have to install another hard drive before it dies Speedy Gonzales (78)

870320 2010-03-27 13:05:00 Boot from the floppy. Change the bootdisk to the floppy in the BIOs first. If thats what that file did. Then wait for it to finish Speedy Gonzales (78)

870322 2010-03-27 13:27:00 If its not a maxtor hdd, the only other thing you can do .

Remove it put it in a desktop, (jumper it properly if its an IDE hard drive), and copy (documents / txt files / dont worry about programs, you'll have to reinstall them),what you want off it . Then buy another hard drive
