870274 2010-03-27 02:08:00 Sadly my graphics card died the other day (see this thread (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz)) so now I need a new one that is reasonable, and will run on a 350W PSU and no power cable, possible?

Most intence game I currently play is PES 2010, which at recommends a "DirectX 9.0c, 256MB Pixel Shader 3.0 (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 o AMD/ATI Radeon HD2400 o higher)".

Any help is greatly appreciated. :thanks

Budget is around $150

870275 2010-03-27 02:12:00 You would probably need something better than a 350w PSU Speedy Gonzales (78)
870276 2010-03-27 03:01:00 Yes thats the problem, I would buy something bigger but I'm considering buying a console later this year. I see this as being a sort of "in between" purchase. davidmmac (4619)
870277 2010-03-27 03:09:00 What resolution do you want to game at? is the important info missing

Budget around $150 ish I guess your best choice is a ATI 5670. Can be considered a "up to" 1680 x 1050 with medium eye candy (prob get away with power). Your better off squeezing a bit more and buy a ATI 4850 however but power will be a issue there.

870278 2010-03-27 03:15:00 Sorry, LCD has max res of 1366*768.

According to this (playtech.co.nz)the 5670 needs a 400W PSU, would I be able to get away with it?
