2009-06-16 03:08:00 | Hm never tried the windows one. The normal controller works fine here in windows. But, you'll need the Xbox wireless adapter for it to work. The Windows one maybe wired (it doesnt say its wireless), why its cheaper | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

2009-06-16 03:48:00 | IIRC the controller for windows is wired not wireless | lagbort (5041) | |

2009-06-16 04:37:00 | That would be the breakaway cord, that connection is just there incase you pull on the cable to hard | lagbort (5041) | |
2009-06-16 04:43:00 | Oh ok, I just bought it for the PS games to PC, ya learn something everyday! | rob_on_guitar (4196) | |
2009-06-16 06:18:00 | this one is apparenlty a controller for windows www.dse.co.nz I purchased one (from dse) about 2 years ago. I think the only difference between that and a non "for windows" one is that the one for windows has a CD with drivers. I highly recommend buying one though, I haven't found a game it doesn't work with yet! :) I believe the wireless controller for windows also comes with an adapter (like this (pictures.xbox-scene.com)) hence the higher price.
