782590 2009-06-16 01:18:00 I currently have mysky HDI and i notice that TV3HD and sky sport channels are all very much louder than TV1HD and TV2HD, Does anybody know why this is when i go to the tvnz channels the volume has to be turned up and TV3 and sky sport the volume has to be turned down. There must be someone we can complain to about this :(

782592 2009-06-16 02:14:00 It's the same with ads on most channels.
Ad break starts and it is suddenly very loud.
PITA!

782593 2009-06-16 02:15:00 Some TV's do have an option for standardizing the volume on all channels. Its just a stop-gap measure but it could help you out. beeswax34 (63)

782597 2009-06-16 02:40:00 Pass dont have Sky. Only a USB tuner for freeview Speedy Gonzales (78)
782598 2009-06-16 02:43:00 Actually for me it is the other way around; tv1 and 2 are slightly louder than 3.
If i change the audio setting on my tv from 2.1 to 2/0, the volume gets a small boost. But when I switch back, the tv forgets the previous setting :o

I'm pretty sure Sky is - the difference in audio quality on the Sky Movies channels over the other Sky channels is astounding
