2010-03-27 00:11:00 | I have e mailed HP for support - they may be able to offer some answers for me - cross fingers - Laraine | Laraine Chezick (12228) | |
2010-03-27 08:38:00 | got a reply - they want all sorts of information which I will try and get for them - say to connect another wireless laptop to the same modem - well I cant do that but have tried my one in Dunedin and it would not work - I will transfer the e mail and deal with it tomorrow - a fresh day to stress me out more - cheers Laraine | Laraine Chezick (12228) | |
2010-03-29 07:53:00 | their reply was pretty useless - they direct me to a trouble shooting link - if that does not work they offer a repair job or replacement at my cost - well I expected this, when I look on the laptop files there is no sign of a wireless connection - I guess I was expecting miracles !!! thanks for your assistance on this anyway - Laraine | Laraine Chezick (12228) | |
2010-03-30 03:27:00 | I suppose it's not just switched off is it? What colour is the illuminated icon? | jinja_thom (4306) | |
2010-03-30 03:30:00 | I suppose it's not just switched off is it? What colour is the illuminated icon? It would still show up in device manager if this was the case. ;) That sucks, my thought would be pawn it off on trademe before the whole thing craps out and buy a new notebook, there are good prices on Toshiba L500s at the moment.
