783019 2009-06-17 20:29:00 Get a PS/2 to USB converter cable and attach an old KB. Only a few bucks or you can have mine.

Or turn on ToggleKeys. :)

Coffee Cup coaters is all they are good for.

Unless your're a ninja, then when edges are sharpened they can be used as deadly flying objects!

783023 2009-06-18 01:09:00 Actually saw at one customers house - all the "dud" coaster/ CD's hanging from the trees in the front yard - they blow around and sparkle quite nice in the sunlight /wind. :) wainuitech (129)

783026 2009-06-18 10:44:00 Yep. One actually scared a bird once. Way ahead of their A/V record. And they don't slow the vegetables down at all ! R2x1 (4628)
783027 2009-06-18 22:09:00 I'm not perfectly happy because I still can't work out why the setup disk (from Telstraclear) couldn't detect my ethernet port, which is why I'm using a USB connection between the modem and the lappie
Well - I've made progress... firstly the Telstraclear helpdesk folks I spoke to, although were as helpful as possible, just aren't sufficiently knowledgable. They couldn't help me get connected and advised my computer needed an ethernet card. I insisted it had one but they concluded I didnt and weren't able to help further. Plonkers!

So this morning I checked in Device Manager and discovered it wasn't working properly. I noticed that the default drivers were 3 years old. So I updated them automatically (Vista is cool this way). Then I simply disconnected my USB cable, replugged my ethernet cable, and lo-and-behold my ethernet Internet connection is working. And whats better still is that the download speeds I'm getting are way better.

783028 2009-06-18 22:26:00 Magic Greg, glad to hear you've got it all going.

USB really sucks for connecting your PC to a broadband router. :p
