| 871768 | 2010-04-01 09:28:00 | you get warrenties on the parts anyway , so i cant see that as an issue | GameJunkie (72) | ||
| 871769 | 2010-04-01 09:33:00 | Yes but if you need to make a claim on a warranty - there is often problems or can take ages to sort - if at all. At least if the parts are from a reputable shop, and not some cowboy making PC's Most of the time the problems with RMA's dont happen. |

It doesn't matter if you list it for cheap either, some sucker will end up bidding too much, I've been selling 160GB SATA hard drives on trademe for $50 - $60 a pop, I only put them on for $10... considering you can get a brand new 1TB for $130, its rediculous what people pay for second hand drives... |

| 871772 | 2010-04-01 20:57:00 | I was looking at desktop prices last night on TM, and couldn't believe how much they were still charging for aging tech like Core 2 Duo; I understand they want to clear the old stock, but the prices don't seem to have moved on the likes of E8400-based builds for example. Lower spec systems with E5300's etc are even more bizarre, given how Core i3 is only slightly dearer. |
