784287 2009-06-21 06:17:00 Way back many years ago there used to be a club called the World Record Club that my father was a member of. Then I think sometime in the 80's or 90's it became the World Music Club.
Every month one would get a catalogue to order from (if you wanted to) and then send a cheque and about 3 weeks later receive whatever album(s) you had purchased. Usually with club discount
I'm just wondering if it's still around in any form, or has it long gone. I used to be a member but dropped out, and am wondering if anything (probably online now) exists still

MartynzThanks but I had already read that and it tells me nothing about what happened to it after 1965 (which is before I was born)
Myth (110)
784291 2009-06-21 12:15:00 In what seems like another lifetime back in the 70's I too belonged to this organization. I still have a number of classical records from them in my collection which I occasionally play. zqwerty (97)
