872764 2010-04-04 12:01:00 One firewall at a time is the sensible rule.

If you have more than one, they may fight with each other, giving you extra problems.

872766 2010-04-04 15:13:00 What they said.

Although, are you behind a broadband router? Chances are that you're behind NAT, which naturally protects you from a lot of attacts.

872768 2010-04-05 00:31:00 so you have it turned on aswell as the AV firewall cicero? GameJunkie (72)
872769 2010-04-05 00:36:00 I use the firewall in Win 7. I don't use a third party one. Also I didn't use a third party one when I was running XP either. Sweep (90)

872771 2010-04-05 04:03:00 W7 firewall is 2 way & is Ok.

XP firewall is incoming only. Does not stop spy-ware etc from sending messages out.

I prefer to use Comodo Firewall & Microsoft Security Essentials.
