787858 2009-07-01 09:36:00 Im on a dial up connection of 31.2kbps and iv heard of download managers, im looking for a really fast one, so if any one has any program names can you tell me bigjasonmannor (15043)
787859 2009-07-01 09:37:00 I use down them all for FF not sure about dial up though gary67 (56)
787860 2009-07-01 09:42:00 Generally if you internet speed is XX then it will stay at XX.

A download manager will only do so much. If you want faster speeds go BB.

And most download managers show a noticeable difference in download speeds if you have BB, and not dial up.

Anyways, answer to your question:

If you use Firefox, use the DownThemAll addon.

If you use IE, download firefox then use the DownThem all addon:p

787862 2009-07-01 09:52:00 I use Freedownloadmanager (http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/) - Never really had any problems with it. wainuitech (129)
787863 2009-07-01 10:53:00 No you won't really get any benefit from using a download manager on dialup.

787864 2009-07-01 22:33:00 I use flashget. Using just plain firefox, speeds of about 20kb/s increase to 120kb/s with a multiple connection download manager. utopian201 (6245)
