786206 2009-06-27 05:30:00 So excited they posted it twice.

Its nice, but its not *that* great ... definitely playing catch-up with things such as Copy / Paste. So much hype over such a small feature :-/ Windows Mobile has had that for YEARS!

I must say the most useful feature thus far for me has been PXT'ing & Tethering it with laptops / desktops! :D I've only once had the need to copy / paste a Cell number to forward to my father, nothing else. Forwarded an SMS message once, but how often really do you get a Txt and think "Wow I wish I could forward that on to somebody else!"? Coz I never do ... Then again I dont get those lame SMS jokes sent to my phone as well ;)

Yup - and even then, PXTing and tethering has been available on other devices for years....

786209 2009-06-27 06:15:00 Not to mention Searching ...

Interestingly enough, they still managed to sell a truckload of iPhones without:
Making any huge advertising about the 3GS - 1 million sold in 3 days (approx)
The "standard" features many other devices have had such as Copy / paste, Search, Tethering
Allowing an application (other than their own) to run in the background

How? I dont know, but the fact its an 'intuitive' device to use seems to go a long way towards helping! :D
