| 872450 | 2010-04-09 21:07:00 | i did a bit of research last night and narrowed it down to about 3 builds. one is the playtek assasin gtr $1429, and the other two builds are based on the quote i posted last night with a few changes: Build1 gigabyte p55 usb3- 215 kingston - 223 wd - 127 lg - 46 antek - 134 5850 - 472 amd phenom x4 945 - 232 tot: $1449 build 2 same but i5 750 gigabyte gforce gtx 260 super oc hdmi 896 mb (less specs than the 5850) tot: 1404 i realised that with my budget i could only do one good gfx card and cpu. theyre both not bad builds but agent 24 said that the 945 was good so i think the first build would be the best. post your opnions and any changes i need to make please. i will ask for a quote on both of these. which of the 3 is the best? also now i have to start thinking of a monitor and keyboard/mouse but i think a cheap one will do |

| 872451 | 2010-04-09 21:40:00 | Doesn't look too bad but you'll need a different motherboard if you want to get the Phenom CPU, that Gigabyte P55 board is for Intel CPUs... Radeon HD5850 is better than GTX260. CPUs are probably both very similar. What PSU are you getting to power all of that? |
