872927 2010-04-06 03:36:00 I have legal disks of all the mac operating systems apart from 10.6 nedkelly (9059)
872928 2010-04-06 03:51:00 FWIW, I did the same thing, I installed XP>Vista>7 (which created a boot list of Windows OS's at bootup). Then I installed Ubuntu, which kept the Windows list, but when I booted I got either Windows or Ubuntu. When I selected Windows, I got the normal XP/Vista/7 list.

In my experience, everything worked perfectly. The trick is to install Windows from oldest to newest and then install Linux.

872929 2010-04-06 04:17:00 yeah I would have done that apart from the fact that I really did not want to reinstall the vista on it. nedkelly (9059)
