| 872928 | 2010-04-06 03:51:00 | FWIW, I did the same thing, I installed XP>Vista>7 (which created a boot list of Windows OS's at bootup). Then I installed Ubuntu, which kept the Windows list, but when I booted I got either Windows or Ubuntu. When I selected Windows, I got the normal XP/Vista/7 list. In my experience, everything worked perfectly. The trick is to install Windows from oldest to newest and then install Linux. |
