I still reckon go door knocking sorta thing, theres just too many others to compete with on any published advertising point of view |

I still read the mag though, although it take less time than some of the other ones. |

| 786968 | 2009-06-29 12:24:00 | If you're looking at advertising, community noticeboards and flyers are probably a much better option - especially the community noticeboards. As a rule, you want to be advertising to people who are clueless about computers and need an expert (they read the noticeboards) rather than those who would much rather take a crack at fixing it themselves (the kind who read PC World). You'll get a hell of a lot more bang for your buck. Yellow pages can be good, but only if you get high volume - it's *very* expensive. |

| 786969 | 2009-06-29 18:21:00 | Years ago the CD (or floppy) was one of the main reasons I bought the magazine. I spent ages sorting them and cataloging them. Then I found that most of the software was the same every month, and the rest was available on the net. And I have never been into the game demos. And now like many others I hardly ever buy the magazine. Years ago I used to keep all of the how to's and the requests for help etc. But in today's world who would want to wait till next months issue to get a reply to a serious problem. |
