873406 2010-04-06 02:15:00 Is this the PC?

If so then what Ollie says is right
you are trying to run an 800 Mhz fsb processor
in a motherboard that only supports
533 Mhz or 400 Mhz.
changing to a compatible CPU or a compatible
motherboard are your options.

873407 2010-04-06 02:34:00 Nowhere does that say it's an 800Mhz FSB processor!

There are, in fact, Pentium 4 CPUs which run at 2.6Ghz and have 400Mhz FSBs.

There is also a CPU which runs at 2.66Ghz and has a 533Mhz FSB

Sorry.
That is the newer listing in the old listing it was defined as a hyperthreader

873410 2010-04-06 03:00:00 Yeah, sorry, I should have posted the original link but failed to notice the
lack of mention of hyperthreading in the new listing.

(wonder if it is the same PC?)
