872918 2010-04-05 06:50:00 I understand wanting to have XP, but Vista AND 7? I'd just go with 7 and do an upgrade install. Thebananamonkey (7741)
872919 2010-04-05 07:12:00 Any hidden partitions like recovery on the hard drives? Sweep (90)
872920 2010-04-05 08:48:00 Update: All working perfectly.
@Thebananamonkey: I like having both for when people want me to walk them through how to do things.
@Sweep: No, this is my pc that I originally built as part of my AMES A+ course. Been upgraded a bit from then though.

872922 2010-04-05 09:07:00 ok problem with ubuntu. I have static IP addresses set on the computers, I set up the IP for Ubuntu but I have no Internet access. nedkelly (9059)
872923 2010-04-05 09:20:00 sorry never mind. A log off and login seems to have fixed it. nedkelly (9059)
872924 2010-04-05 11:05:00 Considered hackintosh? :d Ollie (794)
872925 2010-04-05 11:13:00 hmm I wonder if the rules of the forums allow me to answer that.

I am virtualling 10.2 (legally). But might look at doing a full hackintosh on my old amd setup.

Umm its not ilegal if you purchase the OS itself. Have a look on TM for the old OSXs. It actually runs really well on PCs surprisingly. Look on youtube on how to make your own hackintosh if you're stuck

To me having Vista and Windows 7 on a system is a waste of time really
