789085 2009-07-05 04:36:00 Um, I have an oldish L17T monitor, which does me okay. I have the PS2 hooked up to it most of the time. It's great for flicking through the web, ps2 and TV without having to unplug anything. Gonna miss analogue tv... the_bogan (9949)
789086 2009-07-05 04:41:00 Yup its below, use the DVI for the PC and the HDMI for the Xbox. I can get TV, but its a USB DVB-T tuner, not built in Speedy Gonzales (78)
789087 2009-07-05 05:35:00 Slightly older (standard aspect ratio) 19" Viewsonic for media server and SWMBO's laptop when she's studying, and a 32" V-series Bravia with Freeview HD. nofam (9009)

789089 2009-07-05 07:54:00 How have you guys done it, have you just upgraded? Put the old CRT TV elsewhere? We got the CRT TV like 9 years ago but cos its not broken we haven't upgraded.....

Computer we still have a 17 CRT and we upgraded computers but not the screen cos it's still working, my computer is LCD cos I didn't have a PC before, I had a laptop.

789090 2009-07-05 08:20:00 We upgraded our CRT TV last year - to a slightly (about 1 inch) bigger TV that was being given away by some friends. The old TV just got put next door, the even older TV (about 15 years old) is sitting gathering dust in a corner :D.

As for the computer monitor, I upgraded to a 19" LCD in Janurary, and put the CRT with the old PC, the other CRT is now gathering dust in a garage waiting for one of those electronic recycling days to arrive :).

789091 2009-07-05 08:46:00 No the CRT is still here (actually Ive got 2). Ones a 29' and heavy as hell lol. Still works, has PIP on it and nicam, but I'm ready to biff it, even tho it cost me 5g. And the one in the lounge is widescreen (A 28', the 29 isnt widescreen). The LCD is the computer screen I use. But I still watch TV on it as well as play the Xbox through it. I've still got a 17' CRT monitor for the PC in the bedroom (An AOC monitor) Speedy Gonzales (78)
789092 2009-07-05 08:53:00 Still use crt TV and will do until it dies, use it with freeview and a dish as no freeview HD down here. All computers running LCD mine came with one when I originally bought it, SWMBO's one got an upgrade when her CRT died, the XP backup comp has an old 15" LCD from stepsons school cost $40 they were getting rid of them, other spare comp has 15" bought of trademe for $40 and stepson has a lappie gary67 (56)
789093 2009-07-05 09:17:00 22in Samsung 2232BW for main comp (highly recommend Samsung).
19in Dell Ultrasharp .... for the old Dell (it is a great screen).
32in Bravia for the TV.
