Drink a bottle of Alcoholic beverage before you are interviewed. This will ensure you pass. |

There are also safety issues - for example, if you are required to drive a forklift, you cannot be drunk. |

| 788362 | 2009-07-03 02:49:00 | and if a person is drunk at their interview it doesn't mean they will be drunk on their first day of the job. Of course not. The same applies to employers to ask for past criminal convictions - it doesn't mean that you *will* do something, but it gives then an indication of what you are like as a person. If someone is silly enough to show up for a job interview drunk when they know that they will be tested, then the chances are that they'll show up to work drunk. |

| 788363 | 2009-07-03 02:49:00 | Obviously they get alcoholics trying to get jobs, If you can't stay off the booze for the interview then there is no way they will stay off the booze for work. And in the event you hire some deadbeat alcoholic piece of **** you end up with a problem on your hands. |

Being drunk or seriously affected by alcohol at an interview would tend to indicate you don't actually want a job. A test for alcohol could not tell if your were ever drunk in your lifetime. |

| 788365 | 2009-07-03 03:10:00 | yeah but how long does alcohol stay in your system for? you could have been at your dads birthday party and had your last alcohol drink at midnight and then the job interview could be a few hours later at 9am, so would alcohol still be in your system? if i was an employer i would not hire someone if they turn up drunk but i dont mind if they have alcohol in their system and their not drunk. sometimes instead of having a healthy cereal breakfast i have a coke and a meat pie and maybe i might have a beer sometimes too.
