873938 2010-04-07 11:14:00 In the past there was a site that you could send unlimited text messages for free but got shut down I think. Vodafone also had a site that provided 5 free text a day I think and any more was charged at 20c each. Not sure if that is still available, I guess for corporate clients it should be available to communicate with staff.

Just checked; if you log into Vodafone, you have apps to do it online but not free.

Sounds like you need a BT adapter, and a mobile with BT so you can pair them, then send whatever from the mobile

I only have a telecom prepaid, non bluetooth.
So it looks like I would have to use 3rd party software, most likely pay as you go.
It's a wonder you can't use skype or MSN.
