(Its a good ad too) You and Telecom have been ripping me and the rest of New Zealand off for the last 15 years, and every one knows it. (Paul Budde, The Commerce Commission, The Minister, TUANZ, every overseas tourist and every Kiwi except you) And along with your poor service (for a communications company) and the fact that send millions of our dollars overseas each year. I can't wait to join 2 Degrees. And I will be joining them what ever their rates are just to stick it up to the duopoly.	Digby (677)

I sincerely hope that they are competitive and bring down the cost of cellular services in NZ, but I am skeptical at the moment. If you had great pricing, why wouldn't you shout it from the rooftops? NZ Comms over the years have done a lot of empty shouting so they've probably learnt to keep quiet until they can actually deliver.	PaulD (232)

Aren't NZ communciations also laregly owned by an overseas company, I think it is South African, so they will still be sending profit overseas. I know some Moari group/iwi is also involved somehow. Telecom is largely NZ owned, by mum and dad shareholders, but their shareprice has been hit hard, with all the investment costs.	robbyp (2751)

They're already thinking about how much dosh they could make by selling their customers (and network) to Telecom or Vodafone after they've been around for a couple of years. I'd be VERY surprised if either of the encumbents has a clause like that in their T&C's... Geez - that PDF you linked to Jen isn't even branded!!!	johcar (6283)
