Great. Yet another price increase . Prices go up, wages stay fixed
add this to petrol, rates, rubbish

"The Electricity Authority is standing its ground and pressing on with radical change to the way people pay for transmission of their electricity."
" those who benefit from the installation of new lines should pay more."

what the bloody heck does this have to do with it ?

Every price increase makes me think some more about solar.

You could have saved all that money by living in shop doorways.

1450994 2018-06-28 04:28:00 It's not a blanket increase, they mentioned this last year, it's an adjustment in pricing.
For instance here we are with Online Energy, so is my mum, but her rate is higher.

This will go down, here go up a bit, it levels it out, fairer, but off course, while some get a reduction, others as a consequence get an increase.

Why? I'm not the one grizzling about the price increases

Sigh. Effectively, a current account deficit really means we're saving less than our investment, so we run a financial account surplus. Combined, the two sum to zero. So, if you wanted to reduce our current account deficit, then great - are you going to do it by decreasing consumption and forcing people to save more, or are you going to lower the rate of investment?
