I’d forgotten we have had some name changes to try and retrieve the situation after the lies that were exposed in “Climategate”. “Global Warming”, became “Climate Change” in order to restore some credibility. After all, it's pretty hard to argue the Climate doesn’t Change, and “Carbon Tax” became “Emissions Trading Scheme” in order to fool the fools into thinking it wasn’t a “Tax”. Anyway, there is no shortage of “Eminent Experts” around now who are prepared to argue we are actually entering a “Mini Ice age”, which is more believable to me, going by the temperatures in Mount Maunganui and elsewhere. :D As an aside, these “Spin Doctors”, previously called “BS Artists”, take the cake. Up this way a Roading Contractor changed their “Road Works” signs to “Pavement Rehabilitation”, much to the amusement of a lot of motorists. |
