1448862 2018-04-25 00:31:00 Hi All
I am using Mailwasher free. When I click on "Check Mail it urns to "Stop" & downloads all the mail waiting for me Mostly "Pink' with a few "Green. I choose :Thumbs Down" to Pink as spam to delete. I then press "Clean " & all the Pinks disappear. leaving only the "Greens" All good so far.
Next morning I start again & get another screenful of the same ones or new ones. I have tried using Delete, Spam, Black list, Bounce. I thought that they would go away, they don't. Is this because I am using the free version? Thanks. PJ

1448863 2018-04-25 00:40:00 As long as its got a tick in the delete box and you click Wash Mail ( up top) afterwards, its will delete them. If you have a Outlook.com or Gmail account sometimes it takes a couple of goes to delete them from the Server.

Yes I do that. They only appear first time opened in the morning never during the day. some of the old ones & some new. I gues that some of th repeats have one letter or symbol changed it its address & makes it a newonne. Persistant little buggers. PJ

1448866 2018-05-02 23:56:00 Any good free alternative to Mailwasher. Something a drongo like me can understand? Thanks. PJ Poppa John (284)
1448867 2018-05-03 04:47:00 Doesn't matter what type of program is used, when a Address changes from whom ever sends it unless you use a "blanket Block" of the domain (Wild card) then it will still come through to The program.

An example of just SOME of the ones in Mail washer I have had to block:

All you need to do to reject a mail is tick the box on the mail(s) and click Wash Mail, its gone. If using an online account like Outlook.com, or Gmail sometimes it takes a short while for it to sync so it may come back again.

1448868 2018-05-03 04:58:00 W. Mailwasher works fine on the Toshiba laptop but wont work on the Everis. Tried Spamfigher also wont work.. I accept that Mailwasher does what I want on the Toshiba. I have tried Mailwasher on the Everis with a different name & email address, but then wont work eiher. Must be something I a doing wrong. PJ Poppa John (284)
1448869 2018-05-03 05:27:00 Not necessarily something you are doing wrong PJ. When you say they wont work, do they install OK and open (or appear to) ??

What is the actual problem they are having ?

Wasn't to sure what a Everis was

Is this what you have ( warehouse Link) www.thewarehouse.co.nz (www.thewarehouse.co.nz)

Similar but the 14" one cost me $299. They appear to install but wont open to the actual working screen, that shows the Spam, good & bad, green & pink in Mailwasher. PJ
