Does anyone know what the dead/bright pixel warranty/policy is for Asus notebooks - without me having to go dig through a pile of paper to find the documentation I got with the machine (Dec 2008)? I seem to have developed a bright pixel.... I know there are utilities that can fix a stuck pixel - this one is red - and of course is NOT at the side of the screen where it would be a bit less annoying. (From the sticker underneath, I have a 24M warranty on the machine) |

| 875641 | 2010-04-12 22:43:00 | The Asus Bright Pixel Warranty is as follows: 3 bright Dots over the screen or 6 Dead. look carefully, if its only 1 bright dot then they more than likely wont do anything about it, if its a larger dot, then it could be several dots bright. BTW-- Thats quoted directly from the Asus repair center. ( I rang them) as I have also been asked that question before and couldn't answer. Edited: thats the general warranty, she did ask for the model number, but that was not mentioned here. There may be different warranties for different models. |
