| 875631 | 2010-04-12 08:58:00 | Hi folks. Just installed W7 and planning to keep it all tidy for a change. I have a Seagate FreeAgent USB drive 300 GB, used previously elsewhere as a backup. It has some old data on it and is single drive. I want to clean it, and make two backup drives - one for my programmes and one for data (correspondence, photos, etc.) Can anyone walk me through the clean and divide routine? Help appreciated. |

You dont have to worry about wiping it as such as it will be wiped once you delete the single partition you have now. Cause im a tad lazy I "youtubed" it, this guy is deleting two partitions and creating one, kinda the opposite of what you want but you shouldn't have a prob working it in reverse. www.youtube.com |
