874761 2010-04-10 05:09:00 I have a cheap "zone" 5.1ch dvd home system (speakers and sub connect individually to the rear of the dvd player), and i am trying to get the rca audio input to work so i can play the xbox or sky through the 5.1 speakers. I plugged the rca's in, but no sound, im not sure if there are certain settings i need to change, or...?
My flatmate said maybe its not made to do that, but if it wasnt then the audio input wouldnt be there would it?

You haven't plugged your analogue RCA plug/s into the digital RCA socket/s (if fitted), have you?
