| 791208 | 2009-07-13 00:58:00 | Hi peeps, I read a lot of pdf files and some of them are more than 100 pages long, so I am looking for a bookmark software that I can use so I dont have to remember where I was everytime I open another pdf file. Anyone using/recommend me something that I can use to bookmark the documents so whenever I open up that doc later, its goes straight to the last page I read or gives me some similar options. Thanks. I am looking for something that allows me to put a bookmark on a particular page that once I open the document its tell me where I left off the last time. Does that make sense? |

| 791213 | 2009-07-13 01:54:00 | Found a simple solution to the problem, open Adobe reader, click Edit -> preference and tick the option "restore last view settings when reopening documents" and every time you open that document it will open on the last page that was viewed! :clap | ronyville (10611) | ||
| 791214 | 2009-07-13 02:01:00 | Found This article (www.instantfundas.com) But it relates to Adobe ( Shudder) and to do it in Foxit Reader, on the left expand out the Bookmarks, on the page you want to book mark click it, then hit the bookmark Icon, ( third one in the pic below) it will insert a blank, call it what ever you want ( the date may be good) then close the PDF, it comes up asking to save you say yes - next time you open the PDF click on the book mark and carry on. Example of above (www.imagef1.net.nz) NOW -- I have Foxit Pro - so I dont know if the same works on the standard free one. I needed Pro to fill out PDF forms. |
