790117 2009-07-08 18:27:00 Anyone else in Auckland experiencing a lot of dropouts, intermittent pixelation etc on terrestial Freeview? Have been getting it mostly on TV One, although did see a brief burst of pixelation on TV Three this evening. Has been going on for days now, doubt it is an issue with my Freeview box (Sanyo, cant recall model number at the mo) as all the other channels seem OK. I suspect it is probably the aerial here, which I cant get at as I am in an apartment block, but just wondered if other were experiencing similar issues

790118 2009-07-08 21:38:00 Have you tried removing the aerial from the decoder and then plugging it back in then giving it a twist. Happened to my Freeview HD. All of the TVNZ channels were pixelating so I did that and everything was right after that.

790120 2009-07-09 19:09:00 Looks like it is indeed the aerial. I was advised to try an indoor one, so got a cheap and nasty one from the two dollar shop, and that improved performance considerably. I will go get a decent UHF specific one tommorrow
