876022 2010-04-14 23:59:00 F12 was disabled, I have enabled it. Restart F12 brings up a Boot menu.with only two choices. 2 which is SATA: ST98823As-(S1) or 4 which is PCI BEV: Realtek Boot Agent. And there is an Enter Setup. No Number 3 to choose. ollieogg (6593)
876023 2010-04-15 00:00:00 What about D2D is this enabled? Speedy Gonzales (78)
876024 2010-04-15 00:02:00 Yes it is. ollieogg (6593)
876025 2010-04-15 00:04:00 Put the main DVD in select SATA. See what it does. If the DVD you put in doesnt boot, put the other one in Speedy Gonzales (78)
876026 2010-04-15 00:12:00 Sorry but its not working with either disk. I have also tried it with a Vista repair disk. ollieogg (6593)
876027 2010-04-15 00:38:00 If whatever youre using now has a dvd in / on it, put those dvds in it. And see whats on them Speedy Gonzales (78)
876028 2010-04-15 00:43:00 Four folders called - ACER, I386,IMAGES, PATCH
RCD.DAT
SCD.DAT
STCDBOOT
WINNT.SIF
I think the STCDBOOT is an ISO I can burn that to a disk? I have imageburn on this computer.

876029 2010-04-15 00:51:00 Yup burn STCDBOOT if its an ISO to a blank cd. Or DVD (if its over the size of a cd). Then boot from it. Then see what happens. This is what was created from the restore partition? Or is this from the Neosmart site (The ISO you downloaded)? Speedy Gonzales (78)
876030 2010-04-15 00:58:00 no this is off my Vista Backup disk. ollieogg (6593)
876031 2010-04-15 01:01:00 OK, no harm in burning that ISO. It should do something Speedy Gonzales (78)
