790587 2009-07-13 11:14:00 Nothing worth talking about, the unions saw to that Phil B (648)
790588 2009-07-13 19:59:00 Sounds like British Leyland, the unions totally killed it off. They still have a car industry but not what you think they build Japanese cars such as Nissan and I think only the Ferrari F1 team are not based there all other teams are. gary67 (56)

I wonder if the workers appreciate what a good job the union did for them?

790590 2009-07-13 21:23:00 Xp - do people still use that?

On my netbook, but only because ASUS couldn't be bothered putting a larger SSD in. :annoyed:

790591 2009-07-13 23:28:00 So you think ASUS should put in a bigger SSD, a faster processor, a bigger battery, and lots more RAM so you can run a slower OS for a shorter time? Pfft.
I suppose the fact that this piece of code inhibits many of your earlier programs does mean you will use it less, so perhaps the shortened battery life doesn't matter too much. ;)

Isn't wasting resources on a so-called OS just a little bit self defeating?

790592 2009-07-13 23:29:00 I just need a larger hard drive. I already have 2GB of RAM and the ability to overclock. ;)

3 hours is long enough as it is.

790593 2009-07-13 23:35:00 I would agree, 3 hours is long enough to endure Vista. More would be cruel.
OK, get over it and consider XP bad enough to expiate any sins you may accrue ;)
