not just your model but several others.
the socket becomes loose where it is soldered to the
motherboard.

replacement of the motherboard or very skillful resoldering
(maybe) are the only solutions if this is the issue.

If you mainly use it at home you could try a HP expansion base
this sends the power through the HP expansion port instead of the socket.

I would check to see if it is still under warranty.
