| 790106 | 2009-07-08 20:24:00 | Hi everyone, this maybe a stupid issue to ask but I'm looking to buy a large quantity of baby milk powder to export to overseas which I know that Pak'n'Save and others supermarket like Foodtown or New World are limiting their products (only 2 can of power per customer). Anyone knows how to deal directly to the main Supplier. I believe the main Supplier is only to distribute to their own buyer Yes, I do not quite understand your question. What has Pak'n'Save and Foodtown got to do with exporting ? (those limits are probably for an in-store special) Everyone knows (anecdotally) that Fonterra has warehouses full of milk powder they cant get rid of) If you have some good contacts overseas, why not approach (by making a phone call) the marketing or sales people at Fonterra ? (but I am sure they are already trying to export as much milk powder as they can) |

But they also insist on creating more of the stuff. Here in chch theres a fairly big factory about 40min out of town and they are planning on buildin an identical plant next door. so they must have some place to sell it all |
