If I were hosting the site I would be deeply pessimistic by now (hey, but who am I - thank heavens for people who are more persistent !) :p Hope you are keeping well. Did you get a fresh manual for that camera and the other peripherals ?? Going to buy a SLR tomorrow and will have an armed escort on all occasions that I take it with me (especially Queen St) ! :horrified Misty :D |

I would then be able to sleep with a smile knowing justice is served. If violence is offered, I'll give them a Jaguar - a Lucas filled Jaguar. I am a mean sod at times |

| 789966 | 2009-08-03 21:56:00 | You haven't tried this one! It is really only useful as a bad example. SWMBO suggested I put a roll of film in it - when I pointed out that would not work she raised an eyebrow and said "So?" It takes distorted pictures (Barrel distortion) changes white balance at the tip of a hat, and will flatten batteries in around 4 days without taking a single picture. It loses all settings in less than 2 seconds when the battery is removed, rather than the 15 minutes plus the manual claims. As an aside, it is probably the most unpleasant camera to use that I have ever owned, so at least it doesn't annoy me very often. I would throw it away, but the penalty for casting offensive matter is a bit fierce. (Fuji are not on my Xmas card list.) Finally, I just don't like it ;) |
