789951 2009-07-08 07:12:00 I have been searching for one, but have had no luck!

I have an Arcsoft greetings card program, but find it very limited.

I used to have MS Greetings which was good, but won't work on Vista.

Thanks

789952 2009-07-09 02:51:00 So many of the once free greeting card programmes are no longer free, or have very limited selection of free cards and/or have ads you'd rather not submit your recipients to.
I now subscribe to one to avoid that. Or I make my own from a couple of discs I have and these cards can be emailed. Sometimes I make up a single page, using pictures, photos and appropriate text, save it as an attachment and email that.
Hopefully, someone else may have access to a suitable free one, which they'd be happy to share. PM the link if it seems like advertising.

Cheers,
Marnie

Yes I have got MS Publisher. I am not sure whether it will work on Vista. Will try it in a while. Thanks for reminding me that it does cards!

789955 2009-07-09 08:10:00 Publisher does work on Vista.
2003 and 2007 versions do anyway.

789956 2009-07-11 01:17:00 Apart from Mrs T, who is not sufficiently computer literate to use Publisher, and if she was, she wouldn't have the patience, we make all our family cards on Publisher but we don't use the templates beyond the 4-way fold feature.

Images come from Google Images and we make up the text to suit.

It makes them very personal, and also it is nice to be able to go back several years and see what you have done for birthdays, Christmas, new year, anniversaries and other special occasions.

Cheers

Publisher works fine on Vista.

I was a bit concerned because I have a Windows 95 version of Publisher with an upgrade to Publisher 2000....
But no problems
