| 876942 | 2010-04-15 20:55:00 | It there anyone else here using TC PDQ Max/Max that cant even watch a youtube clip? Until a few months back I could watch virtually any online video without pausing for buffer, but lately it seems PDQ has stumbled back into the dialup age. Well thats not quite true, my download speeds are fine. 12.5Mbps/0.80Mbps and I can grab a linux ISO in <10min but even a standard res youtube clip has me waiting for buffer.. :( |

| 876945 | 2010-04-17 02:34:00 | I bet the people who call the "nows good" line to sign up dont have to wait an hour, just the poor sods who want help. Having said that, I've been with TC for several years and have only had one outage. In that instance the hold period was about 15min. I bet it was a woman who held the phone for an hour lol - no bloke could do that. The streaming video issue is not enough to warrant a change of ISP for me. The speeds I get from TC are at least TWICE as fast as anyone I know using xtra.. That on its own is enough to keep me there. |
