876583 2010-04-14 23:43:00 Hi all, think this must be an update issue, however I have a number of pcs on the network that restart after shutdown. Anyone come across this? SolMiester (139)

876585 2010-04-14 23:46:00 Just started after an update?

Not a wake on LAN setting or something silly like that?

Do the machines turn right off and then back on or just restart without powering down?

876586 2010-04-14 23:46:00 The only PCs I have come across that do that are those that are set to wake on ring or wake on LAN in the BIOS. Sweep (90)

876588 2010-04-15 01:40:00 I have experienced this with power surges or power cuts.
Are they being turned off through Windows, or by the Power Button?
I had a PC which would restart if it wasn't closed by Windows.

How long does it stay off for?
