| 876495 | 2010-04-14 08:56:00 | I picked up a Dynalink 502T ADSL2+ modem at a garage sale. It looked unused. I swapped it directly for my old Dynalink 502 ADSL modem cable for cable. All the lights blinked in the same way but I cannot connect to the internet with the "new" modem. I tried the install disk with the new modem but the software could not find the modem. Any ideas why the new modem does not work? Possibly it was broken which is why it was in the garage sale. Other info whcih may be of use. I have turned the computer on and off a couple of times but that made no difference. There is a USB connection on the modem which my computer detects. However, even if the computer can detect the USB cable, the computer can't detect the modem via th install dsik |

| 876498 | 2010-04-14 09:29:00 | Use ethernet, and do it manually. Most modems, even if it comes with a cd, you dont need it. Yup, and dont forget to type in your ISP username / password etc | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
